Yes! We plant a tree for every earphone we create.

At ankit, we hold ourselves responsible for the environment and the footprint that we leave behind. We believe it is very important in today's world as global warming has become an important issue. Forests are being cut down at a faster pace than ever. This affects wildlife, farmers and climate.

We partner with a non-profit organization - trees for the future. This is a great global organization that is helping people, forests, environment, and climate locally and globally. They have active tree-planting and farmer-helping programs around the world in several countries. They are working in the philippines to amend the damage caused by recent typhoon which destroyed thousands of homes and left families without food, shelter, or drinkable water. they are also active in indonesia where an earthquake in september set off dozens of landslides which, in a matter of minutes, killed over 600 people. the damage could have been far less in both the areas if there had been protective trees in the upland areas. Planting a tree can go a long way, even as much as to save a life. trees for the future foundation sees this and is trying to bring a change in this world. We would like to be a part of this change,so we help in the little way we can by planting a tree for every earphone we create.

Currently, members of the Ankit team also volunteered in Haiti after the earthquake. We helped bring supplies to the orphaned children, donated funds and put in the work to build a school/clinic/church to help the relocated victims of the earthquake.
